A Better Life Today, A Better Life Tomorrow

Priorities

The role of Justice of the Peace is vital because these members of the Quorum Court oversee the county budget.

We must elect a Justice who will fight for a people-first budget that reflects our values. It’s time for a government that both serves and is accountable to everyone in the public.

Everyone should have what they need to support themselves and their families. Sadly the cost of childcare is out of reach for far too many. We can bring those costs down with Evangeline’s plan.

Daycare workers in Rogers and Bentonville are severely underpaid. This causes staffing shortages leading to a lack of safe and affordable childcare for working families. Arkansas is one of the worst states in the country for addressing this issue (in the bottom five!). It’s time to fix that.

Fortunately, the resources and funds to fix this problem already exist. The federal American Rescue Plan allocated funds that we can take advantage of if we simply elect people willing to do so. Evangeline will fight to make sure our community gets the funds that we rightfully deserve so that childcare is accessible to all. It’s a win-win! Pro-family policies not only help parents & kids—they bolster the workforce and create a robust economy that everyone can enjoy.

Over the next fifteen years, we’re expected to get five hundred thousand new residents from across the country. This presents us with an incredible opportunity. We can grow our state’s economic and social power, but we must properly plan.

Republicans in power have neglected our transportation system for years. By electing people like Evangeline, we can both change course and step on the gas. We can make Benton County one of the best places in the country for getting around.

Evangeline will apply the knowledge she gained working in engineering to give everyone the freedom to get to where they want to go easily. She’ll use the Quorum Court’s budget to improve public transportation—lessening road traffic and air pollution. With multiple low-cost transportation options, all of us will have the freedom to go where we choose, when we choose, and how we choose.

The citizens of Rogers know that true safety comes from compassion not brutality. Sadly, the current Quorum Court thinks that packing our jails is the only way to deal with fellow citizens experiencing hardship. It’s cruel, ineffective, and costs taxpayers too much.

Evangeline will help everyone—black, brown, or white—thrive. She will secure safe housing, affordable living, good education, and robust healthcare for all. And she’ll do it with already available funds.

It’s time to say no to cruelty and yes to community. It’s time for proactive people-first policies.
